Melinda is an experienced periodontist and educator. Melinda’s professional interests include patients with complex medical conditions, aesthetics, dental implants and the treatment of peri-implantitis.
Career history:
- Opened the Brunswick practice in May 2026.
- Founded Affinity Periodontics & Implant Dentistry, Ascot Vale (2024)
- Academic Lead (Periodontics), La Trobe University (2022-)
- Founder & Co-Director: Women in Implantology (WIN) group (2022-)
- Counsultant Periodontist, Alfred Health (2010-)
- Clinical tutor & examiner, postgraduate periodontics, UniMelb (2009-)
- Clinical Periodontist, Moonee Ponds (2006-2024).
Melinda is also the proud mum of two teenage sons, and in her spare time loves food, wine, gaming, resistance training, reading, art and being a tourist.

Dr William Cho
BDS(Otago) DClinDent(Perio)
Dr William Cho graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago in New Zealand.
Following this, he practised as a general dentist in private practice, gaining extensive clinical experience and a comprehensive understanding of overall oral health.
During this time, William developed a keen interest in periodontics, leading him to return to the University of Otago to complete the Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontology.
Committed to excellence, William regularly attends national and international conferences to remain at the forefront of periodontal and implant advancements.
During his postgraduate training, William also contributed to the education of undergraduate dental students as a clinical supervisor.
William takes a patient-centred approach, combining modern, evidence-based treatments with clear communication to ensure comfortable care and positive outcomes. William also speaks fluent Korean.
